Use this service to apply for criminal legal aid. The application will be means tested.

To use this service, your client must not have a partner and must be either:

• receiving a passporting benefit, for example Universal Credit
• not working

If your client does not meet these criteria or you need to tell us about a change in financial circumstances, apply using eForms.
